TRUCK MUD BOG RULES

Pit Meeting @ 9:30 AM to State Rules.

1.     Driver must have a valid state drivers license.  Drivers 16 and 17 years old must have a minor release form signed

by a parent or guardian.  All drivers and pit crew must sign a release form, understanding that they are competing

at their own risk and that they will not bring suit against any officials, promoter, employees, sponsors and/or

property owner.  By signing the release form you agree to all rules and set forth.

2.     All vehicles must pass tech inspection before competing.  If presiding officials determine a vehicle is unsafe,

officials have the right to not allow vehicle to compete.  Tech inspection area closes an hour before event is

scheduled to start.

3.     Entries close @ 10:00 AM.

4.     All drivers must attend drivers meeting approximately hour before event starts.

5.     A vehicle cannot be registered after drivers meeting unless approved by truck officials.

6.     Competition vehicles must be operated in a safe manner at all times within the confines of the track, pit area and

staging area.  Track officials have the right to stop and disqualify any vehicle not being operated in a safe manner.

Pit area speed 5 MPH.

7.     Anytime the competition vehicles engine is running, (pits staging area, track, etc.), a driver must be in the drivers

seat.  No exceptions, automatic disqualification.

8.     Only the driver will be allowed in a vehicle when it is being towed or driven while in the pit area, staging area or track.

9.     Only track officials allowed at track side during competition.

10.     All contestants must drive vehicle onto track and into position to compete under its own power and must leave track

under its own power unless for breakage.

11.     Driver must wait for green flag from starting flagman before starting run.  Leaving the start line before the green flag

will be an automatic disqualification.  We will be using a timing light.

12.     Vehicle must stop immediately upon signal of red flag from flagman.

13.     If any vehicle and/or driver is disqualified for any reason, no refund of entry fee or pit fee.

14.     A contestant may be disqualified for either emotional or physical reasons by Competition Director or Track Officials.

Example:  recklessness; drugs or drinking alcoholic beverages.  Any driver or any of his pit crew consuming any

intoxicating agent and/or drugs prior to or during the event will be disqualified from the event.  Drivers will be held

responsible for the actions of their crew!

15.     No one (at any time) will be allowed to verbally or physically abuse any truck official.  Automatic disqualification!

We have the right to fully suspend competitor.

16.     Vehicle must have rear frame attached hooking device with easy access.  If using a cable or chain it must be a

minimum chain size of 5/16 inch or inch cable size.  All tow hook-ups must be secured to vehicle so as to have strength

to tow vehicle from mud pit area without breakage.  (Please note)  If hook-up breaks in mud pit, the driver is

responsible for reattaching the pull out cable.

17.     Track officials will have the option to check competitors for rule violations at anytime during the event.

18.     The Promoter or Competition Director reserves the right to change any safety rule or rules if they feel it is necessary.

19.     Tech Directors will have final decisions on all vehicle classifications.

20.     Contest will be governed by Track Officials and Competition Director with all decisions final.

21.     Most Importantly BE SAFE, HAVE FUN!

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the conduct of competition events and to establish

minimum acceptable requirements for such events.  These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and, by

participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH

THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS.

They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a

participant, spectator, or official.

CLASS 1 (0" TO 35" TIRES)

* ALL PERSON MUST WEAR SAFT BELTS AND HELMET

* NO UNDERCOVER MODIFICATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR THIS CLASS

* MUST BE A FULL BODIED VEHICLE TRIMING ALLOWED

* VEHICLE MUST BE BASE ON THE ORIGINAL FACTORY STOCK SETUP,

NO MODIFICATION TO FRAME INSIDE THE BODY LENGTH

* ENGINE MUST BE IN FACTORY STOCK LOCATION

* VEHICLE MUST RUN FACTORY AXLE, TRANSMISSION, TRANSFER CASE, ECT

CLASS 2 (36" TO 39.5" TIRES)

* MUST WEAR VEHICLE SEAT BELT OR 4 POINT HARNESS AND HELMET

* MUST BE FULL BODY VEHICLE TRIMING ALLOWED

* PASSENGER MUST HAVE SEAT BELT AND HELMET

* VEHICLE MUST BE BASED ON ORIGINAL FACTORY STOCK FRAME SETUP

* ENGINE NOT EXCEED O.E.M CUBIC INCHES

* D.O.T TIRES 36" TO 39.5" ONLY

* NO PADDLES OR CUT TIRES

* NO BLOWERS, SUPERCHARGER, NITROUS, TURBOS (EXCEPT FOR DIESEL)

* MUST HAVE FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOCATED NEXT TO DRIVER SEAT

* ONE CARBURETOR ONLY

* NO SHEET METAL OR TUNNELL RAM INTAKES

* MUST WEAR FIRE SUIT IF RUNNING ALCOHOL

CLASS 3 (40" TO 44" TIRES)

* MUST WEAR 4 POINT RACING HARNESSES AND HELMET

* PASSENGER MUST HARNESSES AND HELMET

* MUST HAVE FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOCATED BY DRIVER SEAT

* MUST HAVE WINDSHIELD

* VEHICLE MUST BE AN ORIGINAL FACTORY STOCK FRAME SETUP

* NO MODIFICATION TO THE FRAME INSIDE THE BODY LENGTH

* ENGINE MUST BE IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE

* MUST HAVE FULL ROLL CAGE

* MUST HAVE KILL SWITCH AT REAR OF VEHICLE
